Here is a new extended trailer of the forthcoming movie musical, “Les Miserables”, including interviews with Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway with short locks like you’ve never seen her. There is not much to say other than it looks stunning, which of course means there is no way it can ever live up to the “Titanic”-sized hype it will have.

The movie is directed by Tom Hooper, who did “The King’s Speech,” and one of the most daring decisions he made for “Les Mis” was to have all of the cast members sing on camera. There is no dubbing, no pre-recorded studio versions played. What you see is truly what you get.

And when will you get it? Scheduled release is Christmas Day, so be patient. Here is the earlier trailer, with Hathaway sounding pretty terrific on “I Dreamed a Dream.”
