One of the three finalists for the interim superintendent/principal position at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School has withdrawn his name from consideration. Edward Malvey told the School Committee that he has been appointed to serve as interim superintendent for the Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District. The committee is expected to meet Tuesday at the high school to begin deliberations for the appointment. The two remaining finalists are Herbert Levine and Bella Wong. Wong was previously superintendent in Wellesley, while Levine most recently led the Peabody schools. Scott Carpenter, the school’s current superintendent/principal, is leaving in July to be superintendent of the Monomoy Regional School District.
