Boston ad agency Arnold Worldwide has a new campaign up and running for Jack Daniel’s, the Tennessee whiskey brand.

Launched around the Fourth of July, the campaign is titled “Independence,” and one campaign component is a TV ad called, “As American As.” To the music of “Bright Lights” by Gary Clark Jr., the ad ticks off a list of iconic items that putatively define America --- cheeseburgers, cowboy hats, motorcycles, electric guitars --- the last image is a bottle of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7. A voice-over says, “Here’s to the American spirit.”

For another iteration of the campaign, Arnold worked with Yee-Haw Industries, an authentic letterpress in Knoxville, Tenn., to create a set of posters that evoke the Jack Daniel’s and American Spirit. A short documentary was filmed of this event, and now the “Yee-Haw Poster Documentary” can be viewed on the Jack Daniel’s Facebook page. Facebook visitors can also share the posters on their walls, buy copies of the posters, and even create their own.

Other Arnold clients include Ocean Spray Cranberries, Fidelity Investments, Volvo, and regional McDonald’s franchisee groups.

In another recent effort, Arnold launched a new website for Ocean Spray that features a sharpened focus on Ocean Spray recipes.
