NH firm is relocating its HQ to Cambridge
Bradford Networks, a New Hampshire company that helps schools and businesses prevent data breaches, said it is relocating its headquarters to Cambridge because it sees high demand for its services in Greater Boston.
The company has a head count of 56 people, a spokesman said; 15 of those employees, including the executive team, will move to Cambridge by the end of the month. Bradford’s research-and-development department will remain in Concord, N.H., the spokesman said.
According to the company, organizational networks have become more vulnerable to data breaches as companies rely more on mobile devices. A Bradford Networks specialty is ensuring that mobile devices are secure.
A key customer group for the company has been colleges and universities, and now Bradford Networks is looking to expand beyond education and into such sectors as health care and financial services as well, hence one reason to relocate company headquarters to Cambridge, the spokesman said.
