Former New England Patriots player Matt Chatham is celebrating the grand opening of his first fast-serve crepe restaurant, called SkyCrepers, at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro next Thursday.

The three-time Superbowl champion will be joined by his teammates and other past Patriots at the store from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 4th. Fans are encouraged to join the festivities and snack on free food samples, take part in cooking demos, and enter to win raffle prizes.

SkyCrepers, which the company describes as family friendly alternative snack that “bridges the gap between the street cart and the cafe,” won the Babson College 2011 Douglass Foundation Graduate Business Plan Competition and a prize of $20,000 in April.

“Our mission is to obliterate all notions of ‘foo-foo’ often associated with crepes by building SkyCrepers into the #1 mall snack provider in the US,” said Chatham in a press release.

In addition to crepes and other items, the menu will offer 25 gourmet coffee drinks.
