Employee suffers minor injuries in armed robbery at West Roxbury convenience store
Police are looking for a man who robbed a West Roxbury Tedeschi convenience store at gunpoint and injured an employee early this morning, officials said.
The suspect walked into the store at 7 Spring St. around 5 a.m., showed a firearm, and demanded the employee give him all the money in the register, police said. When the employee did not immediately comply, the suspect went behind the counter, knocked the employee to the ground, and took money from the register.
Police said the employee suffered minor injuries, but declined hospitalization.
The employee described the suspect as a 6-foot-tall white male with a thin build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. He fled in a black Ford Ranger pick-up truck, according to police.
Anyone with information about the case can call Boston Police district E-5 (West Roxbury) at 617-343-4566.
