Bruce W. Felmly

McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton
Appellate Prac tice – Manchester, NH

He has won millions in verdicts and settlements for clients, and his recognitions and awards fill pages. Still Bruce W. Felmly maintains that he's received much more from being an attorney than he's given. With more than 35 years of experience as a trial lawyer, Felmly represents companies and individuals in a wide range of commercial litigation cases. In one case, Felmly represented a university that was sued by a professor for alleged discrimination activities.

"Winning the case and proving that no discrimination occurred was rewarding because it ratified the high degree of professionalism that the administrators, deans, and staff invested in running a very good university," he says. Another of his most rewarding cases involved a medical negligence case in which he represented a young woman.

"I enjoyed handling the trial and appeal process, but was especially pleased with the verdict and compensation that enabled my client to move forward in the face of many physical and emotional problems," he says.

Since earning his JD at Cornell Law School in 1972, Felmly has represented companies such as Microsoft, the National Grid, Eastman Kodak, and Bayer Corporation, to name a few. The New Hampshire Bar Association honored Felmly with the award for Distinguished Service to the Legal Profession and he has been selected for inclusion by The Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA and Super Lawyers for numerous years.

Plaques on the wall are nice to receive, but it's the attorneys that Felmly has mentored along the way that that are his greatest accomplishments.

"Some of the partners I now work with are attorneys that I helped develop," says Felmly, whose son and son-in-law are also trial lawyers.
