Lane Pryce - John Henry
When Lane Pryce decided to jump ship to start a new agency with Don and company, it was a risky move that was both physically and financially straining. However, Pryce’s penchant for managing the company’s revenues and costs helped to turn the budding start-up into a force to be reckoned with in the ad world.
Like Pryce, Red Sox owner John Henry made a big investment when he and his partners purchased the team in 2002. This endeavor paid off relatively quickly when the Sox eventually won the World Series in 2004, breaking the 86-year-old “Curse of the Bambino.”
However, judging by his new mansion in Brookline, Henry seems to be doing just fine when it comes to finances, unlike poor Pryce, who eventually met his demise last season after a series of financial set backs.
