Lion alum Jay Leno will return to Boston for Emerson College’s undergraduate commencement ceremony next month.

On Tuesday, Emerson revealed that Leno, class of 1973, will serve as the 134th commencement address speaker for the May 11 undergraduate ceremony, while NPR’s “Weekend Edition” host, Scott Simon, will provide the graduate address. Leno and Simon will also receive honorary doctorates.

If you can’t snag a ticket for the ceremonies featuring the recently retired “Tonight Show” host, being held at Boston University’s Agganis Arena, you can stream both via Emerson.
