Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Halberstam's last book, "The Coldest Winter: America and the Korean War," was published posthumously in September after the author's untimely death in a car crash in April. Starting as a newspaperman in the '50s, Halberstam covered everything from the civil rights movement to sports, writing books about America's involvement in Vietnam and a biography of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, "The Education of a Coach." Tomorrow at the Brattle Theatre, colleagues such as Kennedy School professor Samantha Power and Boston Globe sportswriter Bob Ryan will discuss Halberstam's work. The program, sponsored by Harvard Book Store, includes a short film about "The Coldest Winter." Tue 7 p.m. $10. Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Cambridge. 617-661-1515. harvard.com/ events![]()
