From "Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation" to his latest, "American Creation: Triumphs and Tragedies at the Founding of the Republic," Pulitzer Prize-winning author Joseph Ellis (below) has established himself as one of America's best-selling popular historians. "Creation" is a set of six stories from the end of the Revolution up to the Louisiana Purchase showing how the foundations of the country were laid.
