This summer, the Boston Public Library is teaming up with Tikatok, a program that helps children find inspiration for their writing and binds their work so it looks like a real book. As part of the BPL's Summer Reading Program, Tikatok will stop by all of the library's branches this summer to help children write - and publish. The program kicks off today with a party at the library featuring an appearance by Adora Svitak, a 10-year-old author who has been internationally published and has appeared on Oprah. She'll talk about her writing projects. Try not to feel inferior. There's a full schedule of Tikatok visits on the library's website. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Boston Public Library, 700 Boylston St., Boston. 617-536-5400. bpl.org
