Three Boston Globe staffers who contributed to the bestseller “Last Lion: The Fall and Rise of Ted Kennedy’’ will discuss the book and sign copies of it in Hingham today at 3 p.m.

Joseph P. Kahn, Neil Swidey, and Bella English, who were part of a seven-person team, discuss their writing experiences and some of the controversial issues in the life and career of the late Massachusetts Senator Edward M. Kennedy. The discussion will be moderated by David Mehegan, a former Boston Globe writer and a trustee of the Hingham Public Library.

The program, sponsored by the Trustees of the Hingham Public Library, will be held at Hingham Town Hall’s Sanborn Auditorium, 210 Central St.

The discussion will be followed by a book signing and reception with the authors. Tickets are $5.
