“Israeli Disco Fever,’’ “The Chosen Ones,’’ “Joy of Shabbos,’’ and “Bubba & Zaedas Cha Cha Cha’’ are a few of the vinyl records Roger Bennett and Josh Kun collected for “And You Shall Know Us By the Trail of Our Vinyl.’’ The book tells the story of Jews in America from the 1940s to the ’80s through the music of Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, and others. Bennett will talk about the book, and the Israeli group Soulico will perform a blend of Middle Eastern, hip-hop, and reggae sounds.
