On Saturday(Oct. 27) from 11-4, Kate's Mystery Books will hold its annual Yard Sale. The number of books for sale will be larger than usual. (Kate Mattes has put the building up for sale and is planning to move to a new location.) In addition to selling books for $1 and under, the sale this year will also feature duplicate black cats from Kate's collection that decorates the top of the bookshelves and promotional items received over the years for authors and their publications.

Rain date will be Sunday(Oct. 28), same hours.
