Mystery 'bones
The mystery author series at Redbones in Somerville continues Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with free appetizers and three writers:
= James Benn ("Blood Alone," the 3rd in the Billy Boyle series)
= Sibylle Barrasso (introducing a new Boston sleuth, Macy Adams, in "Dark Waters")
= Raffi Yessayan, an ex-prosector in Boston ("Eight in the Box," his debut mystery)
These monthly events are co-sponsored by Redbones and Kate's Mystery Books. It's a chance to buy books and mingle with the writers and other mystery fans. As the co-sponsors say, "It would be a crime to miss it."
