The network of websites run by The Book Report Inc. includes www.Bookreporter.com, www.teenreads.com, www.AuthorsOnTheWeb.com, among others. Now the company is preparing to launch a site for graphic novels, called www.GraphicNovelReporter.com.

The company said in a statement that the site "will give readers of graphic novels what they've been waiting for -- a fresh, in-depth look at these books and their creators." This segment is growing, although a recent visit to Barnes & Noble and Borders to look at the graphic novel selection found more Japanese manga than anything else. More and more, it seems, people want to watch a good book.
