This week's highlights include Pulitzer winning writer Tracy Kidder discussing “Home Town,” his 1999 book on Northampton, Mass., at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cary Hall in Lexington, various poetry readings, and writers from UMass-Boston and Emerson College's MFA programs debut their work at 7 p.m. Friday at Brookline Booksmith.
