Boston area author readings Aug. 29-Sept. 4
Baseball, brotherhood, and blue-collar teenage angst come crashing together in "The Running Waves,'' a coming-of-age novel set in a fictional town on the Cape co-written by brothers T.M. and Seton Murphy. T.M. is the author of several children's and young adult books; "The Running Waves"' is Seton's first. It's a good choice for a satisfying end-of-summer read - just get your hands on it before someone buys the movie rights. Hollywood, are you listening? The brothers sign “The Running Waves” on Aug. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Falmouth Raw Bar, 6 Scranton Ave., Falmouth.
