Updike's collection of novels about Harry “Rabbit” Angstrom, a former high school basketball star, are some of the author's most monumental products. The works include “Rabbit, Run,” “Rabbit Redux” (1971), “Rabbit Is Rich” (1981), and “Rabbit at Rest.” He also inspired the 2001 novella “Rabbit Remembered.”

“Rabbit Is Rich” won a rare literary trifecta, the Pulitzer, the American Book Award, and National Book Critics Circle Award. “Rabbit at Rest” won the Pulitzer and critics circle award.
