Browse al fresco at the Brattle Book Shop's famous outdoor racks, where prices hover at $1, $3, and $5. And with three floors of inside the building, you can meander through the stacks for hours at the 40-year-old bookseller. The shop receives new arrivals constantly and will buy books in good condition from the public in exchange for cash or store credit. They also do verbal appraisals for free.
