Brookline Booksmith

279 Harvard St., Brookline
617-566-6660
www.brooklinebooksmith.com

Brookline's independent bookstore boasts two floors of titles, with the used section in the basement as dense and diverse as its new section upstairs. Contrary to expectation, the store has prevailed over now closed neighbor Barnes and Noble. The shop regularly holds literary events, including signings and readings.

Mon - Thur 8:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Fri 8:30 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Sat 9 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Sun 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
