Kelsey Beck

Kelsey —Miss Boston 2012—competed only for Miss Cambridge 2013 for another chance to compete in this year’s Miss Massachusetts pageant., which is the preliminary competition for Miss America. Kelsey is currently a junior at Harvard College working toward her Bachelor of Arts in English and plans to either attend law school or pursue a graduate degree in broadcast journalism. She hopes to aid her academic work through additional work with the elderly because of her grandfather’s strong impact on her life. As a result, Kelsey’s platform issue is “Impacting Generations: Honoring Legacies and Igniting Youth.” For the talent portion of the competition, Kelsey will perform a piece on the piano, the same piece her mother played and won a talent award for on the Miss America stage.
