Three's companyHe's back to banging nails now, but just a few weeks ago carpenter Jeff Haidaczuk was livin' La Vida Vegas. The 22-year-old carpenter from Newburyport spent three days in Sin City, eating and drinking with the lovely Brooke Burke, host of E!'s travel series "Wild On." (Ever notice the show tends to spotlight locales where women primarily wear thongs?) Haidaczuk said he was a fan of the show but only learned about the Vegas Summer Party Sweepstakes after stumbling onto it online. "I thought, 'Hmm, a weekend in Vegas with Brooke Burke? She's pretty cute."'
Two weeks later, he was told he'd won. (Haidaczuk and 11 others, actually.) Arriving in Vegas with his girlfriend -- "Yeah, I brought her. . . . It was kind of a damned-if-I-do, damned-if-I-don't situation, you know?" -- he was whisked off to his hotel. He describes Burke, with whom the group dined the first night and went clubbing the next, as "wicked nice" and, yes, all that. "She's actually married to a plastic surgeon," Haidaczuk said. So has she had work done? "I think so, yeah, but that's cool."
