Rapper Ricky "Slick Rick" Walters was released from jail yesterday, more than 17 months after US immigration officials moved to deport the British-born star. Walters's release was cleared a week ago by federal Judge Kimba Wood, who ruled the Board of Immigration Appeals should never have reversed its earlier decision that Walters could stay in the United States despite a criminal conviction in 1991 for attempted murder, for which he served 2 1/2 years.
Kimberly Mathers, 28, ex-wife of Eminem, hasn't been heard from in a week, and arrest warrants have been issued after she failed to show up for two court hearings in Warren, Mich, relating to an arraignment on charges of running a drug house.
Ted Danson will put all those years of work behind the fake "Cheers" bar to use behind a real bar today, mingling with donors at the Museum of Northern Arizona to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
"The Partridge Family" is being revived by VH1, which will begin searching for a group of actors that can also sing and play instruments. And viewers will get to see that process in a reality show.
