Actress Andie MacDowell Divorced, Magazine SaysLOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Andie MacDowell and her husband, former high school classmate Rhett Hartzog, have divorced after nearly three years of marriage, People Magazine reported on Wednesday.
People quoted a source close to the couple as saying, "It's a painful and very private time." No other details about the spilled were available, People said. A spokeswoman for MacDowell, the star of "Four Weddings and a Funeral," was not immediately available for comment. MacDowell, 46, and Hartzog, 45, married in November 2001 in a 450-guest ceremony in Asheville, N.C. It was the actress' second marriage. MacDowell and Hartzog first met as classmates at Gaffney High School in South Carolina. They reunited in July 1999 when MacDowell's sister, Julia, reintroduced them.
