(BANG) - Cameron Diaz dyed her hair brown to make her invisible to paparazzi.

The actress, who is famed for her blonde locks, chose to become a brunette because she was fed up being followed by photographers.

Cameron - who is dating pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake - told BANG Showbiz: "I thought having brown hair would help disguise me a bit. But I was wrong. People would recognise me even if they just saw the back of my ear. It doesn't matter what colour my hair is, they still notice me."

When asked if she would consider becoming a redhead next, Cameron, who was in London for the premiere of new movie 'The Holiday', replied: "Maybe! It could be worth a try!"

Last week, Cameron admitted she was thrilled with her new brunette look.

She said: "I didn't do it for a role, just for me. It's just how I see myself, as a brunette. My friends all say it suits me. It looks more like me - more natural."
