Conner tells of drug use

Miss USA Tara Conner, who nearly lost her crown for hard-partying in New York nightclubs, admits to People magazine in its upcoming issue that she's used cocaine. "Cocaine was one of the drugs that I did use," she says in the Feb. 12 issue. "It's hard to look back at that." Alcohol, though, was her biggest vice. "I'm an alcoholic. It was a craving thing -- once I put it in my body, I would start craving more," says Conner, who notes she drank heavily but wasn't "getting sloppy drunk and dancing on tables." Conner, 21, says in the magazine that her recent stint in rehab was a wake-up call. "I didn't think I had an issue -- but I was willing to do anything to save my job. . . . I've realized that I suffer from the disease of alcoholism and addiction," says Conner.

New album for Eagles
After nearly 30 years, California's classic rock group the Eagles may soon release their first album of all-new music. Founding member Don Henley said that the band was nearing completion on an album of all-new material, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on Tuesday. "It's coming out in 60 to 90 days, if we don't kill each other first," Henley said. "The Long Run" in 1979 was the Eagles last album featuring all-new studio material.

New nose for Aniston
Yes, Jennifer Aniston got a nose job. "I had [a deviated septum] fixed -- best thing I ever did," she says, confirming her recent rhinoplasty in an interview posted yesterday on People magazine's website. "I slept like a baby for the first time in years. As far as all the other [rumors], as boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it. Still mine." She's hinting at recent tabloid speculation that she received breast implants.

Actor may face charges
"Prison Break" actor Lane Garrison, 26, should be charged with felony gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs for a solo car crash that killed a teenage passenger and injured two others, police in Beverly Hills, Calif., said yesterday. Garrison's Land Rover jumped a curb and struck a tree on Dec. 2, killing 17-year-old Vahagn Setian and injuring two 15-year-old girls.
