Seagal's jealousy claim

(BANG) - Steven Seagal claims other action stars are "jealous" of him.

The 'Under Siege' actor has a low opinion of his rival Hollywood heroes because he is convinced they "copy" him.

Seagal moaned: "There's a white boy who once tried to do chicken s**t stuff with Bruce Lee who to this day is a large a**hole.

"And there's another person out there who's always tried to copy me. I think among the real professionals there's camaraderie, but with the others there is some jealousy."

The 55-year-old veteran actor has also slammed the current crop of action stars who don't perform their own stunts.

He added: "I will say that most of the so-called action stars these days don't do anything for real."

Jean Claude Van Damme recently boasted he could beat Seagal in a fight, although he insists he never uses his martial arts skills to hurt people in real life.

He said at the time: 'My last fight was more than 20 years ago. I'm not a fighter, I'm a lover. If somebody's going to speak bad about me, I will walk away. 'But if a guy like Steven Seagal slaps me once, I will slap him twice as hard. Life is full of violence.' "
