No. 12 takes fifth run at diabetes

Looks like Pats QB Tom Brady will be in Louisville tomorrow night for a pre-Kentucky Derby party that benefits diabetes research. No. 12 is expected to stick around for Saturday's 133 d Run for the Roses and bring along his gal pal, supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Several Patriots including Tedy Bruschi, Larry Izzo, Mike Vrabel, Dan Koppen, Lonie Paxton, Matt Cassel, and Brady assistant Will McDonough will join the QB for his fifth year of fund-raising for the Barnstable Brown Foundation.

Time’s list has Crimson ties

Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world comes out tomorrow, and it includes a trio of Harvard types. The arbitrary list features professor Lisa Randall, the first female theoretical physicist to receive tenure; Douglas Melton, co director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, who's praised in the mag by Michael J. Fox; and new president Drew Gilpin Faust, who's lauded by Harvard alum and former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien.

Martin gets down and dirty

What's gotten into Ricky Martin? Fans were stunned when naked pics of the Latin singer were projected on a video screen during his weekend show at Mohegan Sun. Patrons were also appalled when Martin started swearing, dropping F-bombs in some of his biggest hits. A former member of the Latin boy band Menudo , the "Livin' La Vida Loca" star is currently on a national tour.

'Housewife' Cross vows no more pregnancies
Being a mom to twin girls is the best experience of "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross's life. But the Marlborough native says she has promised Marc Cherry, the show's creator, that she won't have any more children. Sort of. "[He] would kill me," Cross tells "Extra" in an interview tonight . "I promised him I wouldn't, but you never know if there's an adoption in the future." . . . The stress of having his ranting phone message to his daughter leaked on the Internet must be catching up with Alec Baldwin. For the second time this month, the "30 Rock" star has holed up for the weekend at Canyon Ranch, the posh Lenox spa. Us Weekly reports that Baldwin told other guests that he was "dying to take the African tribal dance class." . . . Tony-winning actor B.D. Wong, best known for his TV work on "Oz" and as Dr. George Huang on "Law & Order: SVU," was at Boston University Tuesday night where his archives are part of the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center. . . . Philanthropist Diddy Cullinane will receive the Justine Mee Liff Spirit Award at the Emerald Necklace Conservancy's luncheon on May 15.

In town to play the Champions Cup Boston, tennis titans John McEnroe and Pete Sampras made nice at the kickoff event. The action begins today at Agganis Arena.
