Gwyneth Paltrow's foot ban

(BANG) - Gwyneth Paltrow begged fans not to photograph her feet at a comic convention.

The Oscar-winning actress - who is recovering from knee surgery - appeared at the Comic-Con in San Diego on Sunday (29.07.07) to promote her new movie 'Iron Man' teetering on huge silver stiletto heels.

Gwyneth pleaded with the crowd not to snap her shoes so she wouldn't get into trouble with her physiotherapist.

She said: "Don't show my non-orthopaedic shoes. I got off the crutches two weeks ago and the cane yesterday (28.07.07) and I've been doing a lot of physical therapy and I'm seriously not supposed to be in these shoes, but that's OK."

The 34-year-old actress plays Virginia "Pepper" Potts in the movie version of the Marvel comic book series, also starring Robert Downey Jr. as the metal-clad superhero.

Before she broke her knee by falling down some stairs, Gwyneth endured a gruelling training schedule to get in shape for the movie which started shooting in April.

The actress, who gave birth to son Moses in April 2006, said: "I was like a post-baby nightmare. So I worked really, really hard. I had an amazing trainer and I worked out twice a day and did dance cardio and felt like a complete nerd and I just really worked hard. I got into shape. And there you go. I was ready to go."
