They've been pouring into town to work and play, so where are the celebs going out to eat?

Thanks to a celebrity quarterback, national conventions, and the filming of A-list movies around Boston, celebrities are among us. And like us, they eat.

Where have these famous folks been dining? How can you follow in their gastronomic footsteps?

Sidekick offers a roundup of restaurants visited by stars over the past few months.

Aidan Quinn, in town last week for the Boston Irish Film Festival, made an appropriate choice for dinner, this Irish pub near the Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square.

Chris Cooper stopped by in September. So did Rex Lee, best known as Lloyd on "Entourage." Not long after, Kate Hudson and Andy Garcia visited the steak haven in October.

When Scarlett Johansson came to Cambridge to receive her Hasty Pudding award, she sampled cauliflower soup and duck confit at the Harvard Square restaurant.

You probably already know this, but Tom Brady dined at Boston Public with supermodel girlfriend Gisele Bundchen in August. They supposedly made out during the meal, but you probably already knew that, too.

Steve Martin isn't too good for a chain restaurant. In September, he dined at the Back Bay pasta spot with friends.

High-roller Justin Timberlake, who was once spotted near Fenway Park eating wings and sipping Pabst Blue Ribbon at Game On! (he was bringing classy back), joined Kate Hudson in August for a non-date at the downtown pub.

While promoting "Evan Almighty" in June, Steve Carell stopped by the South Shore location of the local chain.

On an off day from his gig at the Huntington Theatre Company in June, "Alias" star Victor Garber chowed at the Museum of Fine Arts restaurant.

Tom Brady skipped a Red Sox playoffs game to dine at the South End restaurant. About a week later, David Byrne grabbed dinner after his appearance at the Institute of Contemporary Art.

U2 frontman, Bono, asked chef Michael Schlow to send over food when he spoke last month at the Mortgage Bankers Association. Also recently feasting at Radius were Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who came to town in September for the AARP convention.
