New Victoria's Secret gal Selita Ebanks turned a few heads last night at Gillette Stadium, even when covered up with a Patriots jersey. And it turns out the leggy lingerie model is quite a student of football. "I'm a huge fan of Randy Moss and of course Tom Brady and the rest of the guys," Ebanks told a Globe reporter before the game. "They're breaking amazing records and they're great. I'm a huge fan," said Ebanks who is in the area for a couple of days promoting Victoria's Secret. (She doled out $500 gift cards to five lucky fans at the game last night and is hosting an invite-only pajama party tonight (at the Victoria's Secret at the Natick Collection). Ebanks laughed when asked about reports a couple of years back that she was out on the town with our own No. 12, who's since been busy dating supermodel Gisele Bundchen. "No, I don't know Tom. I met Tom at a party [in Florida] and he was introduced to me through a friend and that was it," said Ebanks, adding that her interest was purely about the gridiron. "Me, him, and Michael Strahan [of the New York Giants], all of us just talked football. I'm telling you I'm a huge football fan." As for the game, the catwalking cutie proved to be rather diplomatic on her prediction. "Hello, 11-0."

Where the action is

Before heading to watch the Celtics whip the Lakers on Friday night, "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo and her hubby, Chris Ivery, grabbed dinner at Prezza in the North End. Tennis pro Thomas Blake and Patriots player Mike Wright stopped at Nebo in the North End before making their way to TD Banknorth Garden. . . . And actor Donnie Wahlberg caught up with Patriots stalwart Troy Brown during the C's action Friday night. Walhberg's in town for "Real Men Cry," which also stars Ethan Hawke and Amanda Peet. The pic, written and directed by South Boston native Brian Goodman, starts filming today near where Goodman grew up.

Smooth sailing

Senator Ted Kennedy's classic schooner Mya is usually among the first spotted in the waters off Hyannis Port and it is always among the last ones pulled out for the winter. Kennedy was joined by his son and daughter-in-law Ted Jr. and Kiki, and the senator's famed dogs Splash and Sunny for one last sail of the season on Saturday. Kennedy and his wife, Vicki, spent Thanksgiving on the Cape. Ted's niece Maria Shriver and her husband, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, were also in town for the holiday and made a trip to the Celts game on Friday night. (Speaking of Schwarzenegger, the former bodybuilder was spotted working out yesterday at Sports Club/LA.) Ted's sister Eunice Shriver has been in Massachusetts General Hospital, where she's being treated for an undisclosed illness.

Plant zaps Zep tour
Looking forward to Led Zeppelin rocking Boston next summer? Don't hold your breath. The band's unofficial biographer, who happens to live in Milton, says Zep won't be undertaking a reunion tour anytime soon. "My sources say it's not going to happen," says Stephen Davis, author of the best-selling book "Hammer of the Gods: The Led Zeppelin Saga." Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham's son Jason are all on board, Davis said, but Robert Plant isn't interested. "Robert's a wonderful guy and a great singer, but he's an old hippie and just doesn't want to do it." There's been talk of a tour since the band announced it'll take part in the Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert in London next month. The Cult's Ian Astbury then fueled the rumor by saying his band's set to open for a dinosaur act. All the hype has prompted Warner Home Video to screen a remixed, remastered, high-def print of the movie "Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains The Same" in nearly 50 US cities tomorrow. (The legendary - and somewhat laughable - rock flick will be shown at the Showcase Cinemas in Revere.) Of course, the renewed interest in Led Zeppelin is good news for Davis. The fourth US edition of "Hammer of the Gods" will be released in a few weeks. "My publisher saw the announcement that Zeppelin would be playing, and said to me, 'Isn't it about time for another edition?' " said Davis, laughing. "And just in time for Christmas."

Chowda hound
Cameron Diaz (inset), who is in town filming "The Box" with James Marsden, stopped by Joe Milano's historic Freedom Trail eatery, The Union Oyster House, over the weekend. We're told the actress knew her oysters and ordered up some on the half shell, tried the famed chowder and the fish and chips. After getting a tour of the restaurant, Diaz signed the book with the note: "Thanks for the Chowda!"

It's a girl for anchor
Congrats to NECN anchor Beth Shelburne on the birth of her first child, a daughter, Avelina Rose, who arrived just before the holiday weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces. Ava, as the wee one will be called, and mom are back at home resting, we're told. . . . And former New Kid Joey McIntyre's new kid has a name, Griffin Thomas McIntyre, the twinkle-toes singer told People magazine. The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant and his wife, Barrett, welcomed their first child last week in Los Angeles. At a fund-raiser in Beverly Hills earlier this month, McIntyre told People that he couldn't wait to be a dad and that he already knew how lucky he is. "I'm just blessed, you know, absolutely blessed," the 34-year-old Jamaica Plain native told the magazine, "And, you know, life is the biggest blessing of all and you know there's no end to it."

Emerson humor

Say this for Rob McElhenney, the executive producer, star, and co-creator of the FX show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia": He appreciates a good joke. Earlier this year, McElhenney spoke to Jim Macak's TV writing class at Emerson College by teleconferencing hookup. To thank him, the students chipped in to buy him a gift - a T-shirt from their school. McElhenney showed his appreciation by wearing the shirt in the opening scene of his show's season finale. The shirt's slogan? "Emerson Football: Undefeated Since 1880." Emerson, of course, doesn't have a football team.
