"Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek was hospitalized yesterday after a minor heart attack. Trebek, 67, was admitted to the hospital late Monday and was expected to remain there two days, said show spokesman Jeff Ritter. A post on the "Jeopardy!" website said Trebek was "resting comfortably in a Los Angeles hospital," and he will be back in the studio for tapings in January. (AP)
Brosnan sued
Pierce Brosnan is being sued for assault, battery, and negligence by a photographer. Robert Rosen said he was taking photos of Brosnan in a parking lot on Oct. 26, when the 54-year-old actor struck him in the chest, causing "severe physical and emotional pain and injuries, including bruised ribs." Calls to Brosnan's attorney weren't immediately returned. (AP)The Joker?
