Gisele Bundchen is set to design a clothing range for Dolce and Gabbana.

The Brazilian supermodel, who is currently the face of the fashion designer's perfume The One, will create a capsule line called Bundchen by Dolce and Gabbana.

A source said: "Gisele has received so many offers to design clothes but has always turned them down and stuck to what she knows best - the catwalk. However, Dolce and Gabbana are close friends with Gisele and have finally persuaded her to broaden her horizons and work with them on her own signature range."

Bundchen by Dolce and Gabbana is set to be released worldwide in spring 2008.

It was recently revealed Gisele is the world's richest supermodel raking in a staggering $33 million a year.

The 27-year-old beauty stars in almost 20 campaigns a year and was the lead model for lingerie giants Victoria's Secret.

The model was paid $5 million a year to front their catwalk shows and appear in their catalogues and advertising campaigns. However, their association ended in May 2007, after the company reportedly refused to increase her annual salary.

Gisele also lends her name to a Brazilian shoe company.
