Janet Jackson's marriage 'allergy' |
Janet Jackson is "allergic to marriage".
The 'Together Again' singer - who has been divorced twice - has been dating record producer Jermaine Dupri since 2002, but is in no rush to tie the knot again.
She told US TV show 'The Insider': "So many people were putting pressure on Jermaine to get married and then they started pressuring me. Everybody would ask us about it - even friends.
"I just think if it's meant to happen, it will happen. I like where we are, and I'm happy where I am. I've done it twice before. I'm afraid I might be a jinx. I might be allergic to marriage!"
Janet - who recently admitted she was considering freezing her eggs for future use - also revealed she definitely wants to have children, but not in the immediate future.
She added: "We both would love to have kids. Someday I know it's going to happen. Exactly when, I don't know."
Janet was married to James DeBarge from 1984 to 1985 and to Rene Elizondo Jr. from 1986 to 1999.
