Gwyneth Paltrow says the most "euphoric" moment of her life was giving birth.

The 'Iron Man' actress - who has two children with her Coldplay husband Chris Martin - said despite winning an Oscar for her role in 'Shakespeare in Love', she has never been happier than when she was in the delivery room.

She said: "The most euphoria I have ever experienced was having a baby - and that's something most women can and will experience in their lives. I think God did a good job with that one. That the most satisfying human experience out there is available to just about everyone who wants it."

Gwyneth - who stars in comic book adaptation 'Iron Man' alongside Robert Downey Jr. - also said she plans to continue working if she is offered interesting film roles.

She added: "I'm only going to do projects that I really believe in. I feel that life is too short to live any other way. I get what life is about and I am so lucky, and love my life.

"And that is very rare. I don't complication my life for myself, like a lot of people in my position - they have to do drugs or whatever, but here I am just enjoying it."
