Everyone who's anyone was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York last night for the posh party celebrating the Costume Institute's new exhibit "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy." Yes, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were on the guest list, along with just about every other A-list celebrity, and even a few B- and C-listers. (Two years ago, our football hero attended the fashion event with then-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.) Last night's gala, cochaired by Giorgio Armani, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour, marked the opening of the exhibition exploring the relationship between fictional superheroes and fashion. Among the designers in the exhibit are Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, and Thierry Mugler, whose contribution is a motorcycle bustier with polychrome handlebars and side-view mirrors.

Moss catches a beauty
Pats wideout Randy Moss certainly enjoyed himself at the Kentucky Derby. Tom Brady's favorite downfield target was snapped snuggling with Miss Kentucky USA 2008 Alysha Noel Harris at a post-race party. (The pics were posted yesterday at TMZ.com.) Harris, who hails from Lexington, Ky., is a 22-year-old sophomore at the University of Kentucky majoring in speech therapy and communication disorders. In her online bio, she says her "strongest talent is [her] ability to forge relationships with people from all walks of life." Miss Kentucky USA 2006, Tara Conner, was snared in a scandal after she was photographed kissing Miss Teen USA Katie Blair.

With an eye on next year
The Patriots cheerleaders are shooting their 2009 Swimsuit Calendar at the posh Paradisus Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic, and a few lucky fans joined them as part of TNT Vacations' "Celebrity Come Along" program. The calendar, which is out in August, will feature Angela Vernaglia, seen here with photographer Jim Stouffer, and the rest of the Pats pom-pom girls.

Delp fiancee closes deal on home
It took a year, but Brad Delp's fiancee finally has ownership of the late Boston singer's home. Pamela Sullivan closed on the property yesterday and promptly opened a bottle of wine given to her by former Boston drummer Sib Hashian. "I am absolutely ecstatic," she told us. "I could not be happier. I hardly know what to do." Sullivan has been living in the Atkinson, N.H., house while she and Patricia Komor, Delp's long-ago girlfriend, negotiated through intermediaries. (To the surprise of everyone, Delp, who committed suicide in March 2007, left the house to Komor, who's married and living in Colorado now.) Komor originally wanted well over $300,000 for the house but ended up selling for $260,000. "I get to keep the house, and the kids get to keep their father's things," said Sullivan, referring to Delp's son John Michael, 23, and daughter Jenna, 27. She said Komor took just three items: Delp's silver VW Beetle, an autographed photo of Woody Allen, and a watercolor painting. "I don't care about any of that," said Sullivan. "The center of my world with Bradley was in this house, and now I get to stay."

Fox signs 'Family' guy
"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane hasn't always had a smooth relationship with Fox TV, but the Rhode Island School of Design alum is getting a lot of love from the network. Variety reported yesterday that MacFarlane has signed a deal that is worth an estimated nine figures and keeps him on Fox through 2012. In addition to being executive producer, MacFarlane will continue to provide voices for "Family Guy," which was once canceled by Fox, along with "American Dad" and the new animated show "Cleveland."

More work for O'Malley
Mike O'Malley continues to rack up quality TV and movie roles. The Nashua native and super Sox fan has been tapped to star with Christian Slater in NBC's new series "My Own Worst Enemy." Slater plays a suburban dad whose alter ego is a super spy, and O'Malley is the friend and co-worker whose alter ego is a violent secret agent. The "Yes, Dear" star also will appear in Ryan Murphy's new TV project "Pretty/Handsome," and in Steven Soderbergh's next film, "The Informant," starring Matt Damon as a whistleblower.

A night for the Huntington
Boston University alum Olympia Dukakis hosted last night's Spotlight Spectacular, the annual gala to benefit her alma mater's Huntington Theatre Company. The chichi soiree at the Sheraton Boston Hotel also was an evening-long celebration of the company's outgoing artistic director, Nicholas Martin. A video tribute to Martin included messages from Kate Burton, Victor Garber, and other actors who have worked with the company during Martin's tenure. The evening's program included honoring trustee Carol Deane and her husband, Disque, for their contributions to and work on behalf of the Huntington.

Scarlett is engaged
Ryan Reynolds has been busy filming "The Proposal" in the Boston area, but the actor found time to pop the question to his girlfriend, actress Scarlett Johansson. The couple are engaged but have not set a wedding date, Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, confirmed to the Associated Press yesterday. Coincidentally, Reynolds, 31, was shooting wedding scenes yesterday in Manchester-by-the-Sea. The romantic comedy also stars Sandra Bullock, Mary Steenburgen, and Craig T. Nelson, and is expected to film in the Cape Ann area through early next month. Johansson, 23, will be seen this fall in "He's Just Not That Into You" and Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."
