Former WBZ-TV personality Tom Bergeron stops with his "Dancing With the Stars" cohost Samantha Harris along the red carpet Tuesday night outside the party to celebrate the reality show's 100th episode.

A 'Party' of one

If Watertown-born actress Eliza Dushku (above) and "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane are a couple, they sure are steering clear of each other in front of the paparazzi. Dushku arrived sans MacFarlane at a special screening of "The Party" at Stella McCartney's boutique in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Word that the two were an item first surfaced earlier this year and has been making the rounds on the gossip sites again recently. Neither Dushku nor MacFarlane's publicists would comment on their dating status yesterday. Dushku has been filming Joss Whedon's new Fox series "Dollhouse." And MacFarlane, a Rhode Island School of Design alum, recently signed a deal - reportedly worth more than $100 million - to keep his animated shows on Fox.

A Grateful meeting

Music.com co-founder Mike "Zappy" Zapolin has had a number of recent professional successes including speaking at the 2008 Milken Institute's Global Conference in Beverly Hills. But meeting guitarist Bob Weir of Grateful Dead fame is among the Boston resident's life highlights, Zapolin tells us. Weir performed for 50 people who are supporters of Head Count, a nonpartisan voter registration organization supported by a number of musicians.

Reed at MFA screening
The legendary Lou Reed will be on hand when painter and film director Julian Schnabel receives the School of the Museum of Fine Arts medal Monday at the MFA. Reed is expected to make a few remarks before a special screening of the Schnabel-directed documentary "Lou Reed's Berlin." No word yet on whether Reed will bring his new bride, musician and performance artist Laurie Anderson.

Film wedding bells toll
Spring is the time for weddings, and at least five of the big-budget movies filming in the region include pivotal wedding scenes. Word from the set of "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" is that the Kevin James comedy ends with a wedding scene that was filmed at (wait for it) the Burlington Mall's food court. "This Side of the Truth," written and directed by Ricky Gervais, also ends with somebody getting married. But the details on which stars - who include Rob Lowe, Tina Fey, Jennifer Garner, Nate Corddry - tie the knot were scarce. As you might expect, "Bride Wars," with Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, has a few nuptial scenes, too, including one that was recently shot over two nights at Trinity Church in Copley Square. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds get hitched in "The Proposal," filming on the North Shore, and Matthew McConaughey's romantic comedy "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" is about a notorious lothario who starts to think about his past loves when he attends his younger brother's wedding. (It just finished filming.) No word whether Martin Scorsese's "Ashecliffe," set in a hospital for the criminally insane, includes a walk down the aisle.

Willis's cast grows
Bruce Willis is getting some company on the Boston set of his futuristic drama "The Surrogates." Signed on to join Willis, who's already in town shooting, are Ving Rhames, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, and Ned Vaughn. The pic, directed by Jonathan Mostow, got in a night's shooting recently in South Boston and will decamp soon to Taunton and Worcester. Based on the popular graphic novel by writer Robert Vendetti and artist Brett Weldele, the movie is about a world where people live in isolation and interact only through their surrogates.

BC to host McCullough
Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David McCullough will deliver the address at Boston College's 132d commencement on May 19 at Conte Forum. . . . And New York University's student newspaper reported that school officials will announce today that Harvard constitutional law scholar Laurence Tribe will speak at NYU's graduation ceremony.

UNICEF honors Big Papi
Two-time World Series champ David Ortiz will be recognized for his off-field efforts on behalf of children in his native Dominican Republic. Big Papi is set to receive the "Children's Champion Award" from UNICEF June 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel. Two years ago, UNICEF gave the award to Princess Caroline of Hanover, the eldest daughter of the late Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco.

Kissinger in town
Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was at the InterContinental Boston hotel yesterday to deliver the keynote address at Deutsche Bank's 33d Annual Global Health Care Conference. . . . After their loss to the Celtics on Tuesday night, Cleveland Cavaliers teammates Anderson Varejao and Devin Brown headed to the Sweetwater Cafe to have a couple of drinks and play video games.
