Daddy Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel has become a father for the first time.
The 40-year-old actor and his 24-year-old model girlfriend Paloma Jimenez welcomed a baby daughter on April 2.
Name and weight details of the baby were not released.
Vin - who starred as a US Navy member who was forced to look after his boss' children in 2005 movie 'The Pacifier' - is currently shooting and producing 'Fast and Furious', the fourth instalment in the hit film series.
After announcing his involvement in the movie, Vin - who will return to his role as carjacker Dominic Toretto - said: "I think me doing the cameo in 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift' confirmed a lot of things for me. It confirmed that if you create a role that the world kind of identifies with, or the world adopts, sometimes you have that responsibility to revisit that role.
"I'm slower than the average actor that just jumps into the sequel, but I think the time has come to finally revisit Dom Toretto."
Vin can next be seen in adventure movie 'Babylon AD', due for release worldwide this summer.
