"Desperate Housewives" star Kyle MacLachlan and his producer wife, Desiree Gruber, have welcomed their first child, Callum Lyon MacLachlan. He was born Friday in Los Angeles and weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. MacLachlan and Gruber, an executive producer of "Project Runway," have been married six years. . . . "24" star Mary Lynn Rajskub gave birth to a boy, Valentine Anthony, Thursday - almost two weeks after her due date. Valentine, who weighed in at 9 pounds, 5 ounces, is the first child for Rajskub and her boyfriend Matthew Rolph, a physical trainer. . . . And Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell are expecting twins this winter. A source told People magazine that both babies will be girls. They will be the first children for the couple, who tied the knot in July 2007. Romijn stars in the ABC comedy "Ugly Betty." O'Connell recently starred in the TV shows "Crossing Jordan" and "Carpoolers." (People)

Kelsey Grammer, 53, is back in the hospital, two months after suffering a heart attack the actor has said nearly killed him, "Entertainment Tonight" reported yesterday. The actor, best known from "Cheers" and his sitcom "Frasier," has checked into a hospital in New York after feeling faint and is being treated for an irregular heartbeat, possibly a result of medication he was taking for his recent heart attack, the program said in a statement. However, according to "Access Hollywood," the actor was not suffering from an irregular heartbeat, but was feeling faint due to the medicine he's been taking for his heart condition. (MSNBC)

Actress Maria Bello and boyfriend Bryn Mooser are engaged. "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" star, 41, and Mooser, 28, a writer, announced their engagement in Bello's hometown newspaper, The Norristown Times Herald, in Norristown, Pa., which said the couple "fell in love over a sheer passion of politics, Africa and cryptozoology." Amy Winehouse was hospitalized last night for a reaction to medication and was expected to be released this morning, representatives for the Grammy-winning singer said. An ambulance took Winehouse, 24, from her north London home to University College Hospital, spokesman Chris Goodman said. Winehouse's musical success has been overshadowed by her tumultuous private life and struggles with drugs and alcohol. (AP)
