More than a decade after its conception, Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy'' will finally see the light of day next month. The album, which will be sold exclusively through Best Buy, will hit stores Nov. 23. Ex-GNR guitarist Slash, meanwhile, has signed up to play at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Nov. 15 tribute concert to Les Paul without even knowing who he'd be playing with onstage. "I'm just coming with my guitar,'' Slash said. The concert includes a lineup of guitar virtuosos such as Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, The Ventures, and Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi. (Billboard)
TV restraining order
Christie Brinkley (inset) wants her ex-husband to keep their kids away from the television tonight when his interview with Barbara Walters airs on ABC's "20/20.'' Brinkley lawyer Robert Stephan Cohen says Peter Cook must keep the couple's two children away from the broadcast while he has custody of them this weekend. Cohen filed papers in Suffolk County, N.Y., seeking a temporary restraining order and a post-judgment order. In the interview with Walters, Cook explains his affair with a teenager and his Internet porn proclivities, saying he was seeking a connection he couldn't find in his marriage. (AP)
Uncovered on cover
We've already seen the baby pictures -- now see the photo of Angelina Jolie apparently breastfeeding on the cover of W magazine. Jolie appears on the cover of W's November issue in a sleeveless top, which has been opened to reveal part of her left breast and a tiny hand ostensibly belonging to one of her twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, who were born in July.
