Motown Records founder Berry Gordy Jr. and performer Smokey Robinson were among the mourners at a funeral service yesterday for Levi Stubbs, frontman for the Four Tops. Stubbs, 72, died in his sleep Oct. 17 at his Detroit home. His dynamic and emotive voice drove Motown classics such as "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" and "Baby I Need Your Loving." (AP)

Jury for Reeves trial
Jurors were seated yesterday in a trial that will determine whether actor Keanu Reeves owes damages to a photographer who fell while shooting pictures of him driving in 2007. Reeves was pulling out of a parking space, and Alison Silva says he was knocked down. Several jurors indicated they have ties to the film industry. One man said he was once the voice of Bugs Bunny. He did an impromptu impression, causing laughter in the courtroom. (AP)

Dancer needs surgery
The pain that sent Julianne Hough from "Dancing With the Stars" to the hospital turned out to be caused by endometriosis, a condition in which tissue from the uterus lining grows outside the uterus, causing painful cysts. Hough will undergo surgery, according to a statement posted on her website yesterday. (AP)
