'Musical' tops rivals

For a second straight week, "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" was the No. 1 film at US and Canadian theaters, taking in $15 million. The G-rated flick, which has made $61.8 million since it was released, edged out two new movies, the R-rated comedy "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," in second with $6.01 million, and the teen-horror film "The Haunting of Molly Hartley," which finished fifth with $6.01 million, according to studio estimates yesterday. The R-rated "Saw V" dropped to third place from second last week, earning $10.1 million. Director Clint Eastwood's "Changeling" moved into wide release and took in $9.41 million, placing fourth for the weekend. (AP)
