Confirming something most media watchers already knew, NBC News yesterday announced that David Gregory is the new moderator of "Meet the Press," the network's Sunday morning political discussion program. NBC used President-elect Barack Obama's appearance yesterday to name Gregory, who'll start next week. (AP)

The vampire romance "Twilight" rose to second from third last week with $13.2 million. The animated "Bolt," featuring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, was third with $9.7 million.
