Ahhh . . . there's nothing like a little humiliation to set the new year off right. New Year's Eve partiers at the Cask 'n Flagon got the unique opportunity to guess the weight of shirtless WBCN personality Adolfo Gonzalez Jr. The winner - Scott Solmonson of Melrose - guessed closest at 362 pounds and won tickets to the Sox, Celtics, and Bruins from host Rich Shertenlieb, of "The Toucher and Rich Show." American Management Services founder George Cloutier and Tiffany Spadafora didn't let the Bernie Madoff scandal or sinking economy put a damper on their $2 million blowout New Year's Eve wedding. The Maine-born multimillionaire and his bride partied with 500 of their closest friends at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla., including former news anchor Natalie Jacobson, Woburn Foreign Motors president George Albrecht, Nantucket developer Mark Goldweitz, PR king George Regan, lawyer Bob Crowe, philanthropist Howard Kessler, event planner Sally O'Connor, lawyer Danielle deBenedictis, and Cheers owner Tom Kershaw. There were monogrammed ice sculptures, juggling bartenders, French tulips, fireworks, a Brazilian dance troupe, and two wedding gowns. Sounds extravagant? Writer and guest Laurence Leamer elaborated on Cloutier's mindset on the Huffington Post website the next day. Leamer wrote: " 'If this is the Titanic,' Cloutier had told me in one of his more philosophical moments, 'Well, we're in the ballroom and we're going down dancing.' " . . . The 150-person bash was a rehearsal dinner for his niece, Sarah O'Hurley, who married Joey Van Saun yesterday.Click, Clack at Coolidge

The 1965 flick features Jason Robards as a man who says and does whatever he wants, after leaving his job writing humorless jokes for a children's show. The "Car Talk" guys also promise to answer fan questions at the show, part of the theater's 75th anniversary celebration.McHale and hearty
Comedian Joel McHale got a special backstage delivery before his New Year's Day show at the Wilbur Theatre. PR ladies Peggy Rose and Diane McNamara stopped by - with Rose's niece Kelly Rose Esposito and friend Caroline O'Loughlin in tow - to deliver a bottle of Rubicon 2002 wine from car czar Ernie Boch Jr. Turns out McHale and Boch are pals and wine aficionados. Rose reports "The Soup" host was just as nice and funny in person as he is on TV. "He really dished on Ryan Seacrest," she said. "He was hilarious."Baby in waiting
Stork watch is on for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's number 2, but as of yesterday evening, no baby. The couple was spotted heading into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA on Wednesday, setting off speculation that they might ring in either the last or first celeb baby of the year.
