Harvard grad John Lithgow was on hand last night to honor John Ashbery , the 2009 recipient of the Harvard Arts Medal. Ashbery, a Pulitzer-winning poet, is the 15th person to win the Medal; past winners include Bonnie Raitt , Jack Lemmon , and Peter Sellars .
