Kendrick Perkins is off the market. The Celtics center got hitched in Houston over the weekend to his longtime girlfriend Vanity. Wedding guests included teammates Rajon Rondo and Leon Powe, and former men in green Ricky Davis and Patrick O’Bryant. Perkins and Rondo reportedly missed Team USA minicamp for the shindig.

Hollywood hot spot
What do Henry Louis Gates Jr., Lauren Conrad, Victoria Beckham, and Hayden Panettiere have in common? Nothing really, except they’ve all dined at Eva Longoria’s Hollywood restaurant Beso, which she co-owns with chef Todd English. Gossip site TMZ.com has posted footage of the high-profile Harvard prof leaving Beso on Sunday night.

Sox wives win the day
The Red Sox wives are happy to report that they raised almost $26,000 and collected 5,550 pounds of food during their recent Cash & Can Drive. Terry Francona’s daughter Jamie, Hideki Okajima’s wife, Yuka Okajima, and Jacque Francona were just a few of the day’s volunteers.

A strong showing
Former Patriots Ted Johnson and Max Lane were in Devens over the weekend to participate in the Memory Ride benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. Johnson and Lane led the Soxology team, which was put together by - you guessed it - Soxology, which makes (and sells) products for diehard Red Sox fans. Johnson and Lane biked 62 miles for the cause.

Silverman branches out
Ben Silverman, the Tufts University grad who took over as cochairman of NBC Entertainment after bringing European shows such as “The Office’’ to the States, is leaving the network. Silverman will leave the post to form a new company with media mogul Barry Diller that will “unite producers, creators, advertisers, and distributors under one roof and produce all forms of content for distribution across a variety of platforms around the world.’’ What exactly does that mean? Tough to say. Diller explained the venture as “a next-generation enterprise that bridges the gap between traditional television and the Internet.’’ Meanwhile, the AP reported yesterday that Silverman described the new business as a provider of content for all mediums, “From Twitter to television.’’ Sounds like the future. Silverman, who’s a big schmoozer in Hollywood (he’s even played himself on “Entourage’’), is technically a New Yorker, but he’s always considered Massachusetts his second home. He’s a big Red Sox fan, and has told the Globe that he named his former production company Reveille LLC (which is responsible for “The Office’’ and “Ugly Betty’’) after his summer camp days in Lenox.

‘Moonwalk’ revisited
“Moonwalk,’’ the 1988 Michael Jackson autobiography that was ghost-authored by Milton writer Stephen Davis, is getting a reprint. But that doesn’t mean that Davis - who has also written books with Aerosmith and Fleetwood Mac - will see any of the profits. “I did that book for a flat fee,’’ explains Davis, who spent about eight weeks with Jackson to write the book, and had to enlist his own brother Chris to help him put the material together because of the tight deadline. The new “Moonwalk’’ will include a foreword by a celeb who was close to Jackson (no word yet on who) and an afterword by Shaye Areheart, the editor who hooked up Davis with Jackson back in the day. Davis told us yesterday that in light of the reprint, he re-read “Moonwalk’’ on Sunday night. It was the first time he had picked it up since ’87. “It’s pretty good,’’ Davis said, admitting he had forgotten how candid Jackson was in the book about family abuse issues. “At the time, that’s what made the headlines.’’

Roasting Rivers
Boston-bred comedian Dane Cook, still wrapped up in the case against his half-brother and sister-in-law, who are accused of bilking him for millions of dollars, reported in on Sunday night about a lighter topic: the Comedy Central roast of Joan Rivers. “Tonight is the taping of Joan Rivers roast,’’ Cook messaged to fans, via Twitter. “I’d like to say I can’t wait to see the look on her face but I think we already know.’’ Nothing like a good plastic surgery jab, right? Other Rivers roasters included Kathy Griffin, Howard Stern sidekick Robin Quivers, and Boston-bred “Sex and the City’’ star Mario Cantone. The show airs Aug 9.

Former Fugee plays Berklee
Wyclef Jean was the special guest yesterday afternoon at Berklee College of Music’s Summer Performance Program. The former Fugee answered students’ questions, performed with Berklee percussion teacher Terri Lyne Carrington, played the guitar behind his back and with his teeth, and did a dance-off with a few students onstage. Jean also did an impression of Michael Jackson, with whom he worked, and said the King of Pop was the “soundtrack of our lives.’’ Jean said he’d like to attend Berklee as a student; he feels he missed out on the college experience.

Getting their kicks

If you’re wondering why packs of people have been loitering outside the Four Seasons for the past few days, the answer is: soccer players. AC Milan devotees have been standing outside the hotel on and off since Sunday, hoping to get a glimpse of players who were in town for an exhibition game against Inter Milan at Gillette Stadium. A few lucky fans were around yesterday afternoon as superstar Ronaldo de Assis Moreira , better known as Ronaldinho, left the hotel and boarded his bus.
