Actress Bijou Phillips says she knew her half-sister Mackenzie Phillips had consensual sex with their father, Mamas and the Papas leader John Phillips. In a statement read by Oprah Winfrey on her talk show yesterday, Bijou Phillips says she was 13 years old when Mackenzie Phillips told her about the sexual relationship. Bijou Phillips is now 29 and says the news was confusing and scary. She says it was “heartbreaking’’ to think her family would leave her alone with her father. Appearing as a guest on “The Oprah Winfrey Show’’ yesterday, Mackenzie Phillips said their father “had changed his ways as much as he was able to’’ and she felt Bijou Phillips was safe. (AP)

It’s a boy for CBS chief Leslie Moonves and his wife, “The Early Show’’ host Julie Chen. CBS Corp. says Charlie Moonves was born Thursday and “mother and child are doing well.’’ Chen announced her pregnancy on “The Early Show’’ in April. She also hosts “Big Brother.’’ Moonves and Chen were married in 2004. He has three children from a previous marriage. (AP)

Quaids post bail
Randy Quaid was given a ride from a small West Texas jail to get bail money from a bank after the actor and his wife were arrested for allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 California hotel bill, according to the sheriff who drove him. Quaid and his wife, Evi, each posted $20,000 Thursday night after spending several hours in the jail in Marfa, Texas. The couple face felony charges of burglary, defrauding an innkeeper, and conspiracy in Santa Barbara, Calif. Authorities received a complaint in early September that the Quaids had not paid a bill of more than $10,000 due to a local hotel, according to a release from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department.
