After more than a half century featuring women like Marilyn Monroe, Cindy Crawford, and the Girls of Hooters on its cover, Playboy has for the first time given the spot to a cartoon character: Marge Simpson. The magazine is giving the star of “The Simpsons’’ the star treatment, complete with a data sheet, interview, and centerfold. The magazine’s editorial director, James Jellinek, won’t say exactly how much of Marge will show in the November edition that hits newsstands on Oct. 16 - or whether she lets that big pile of blue hair down. But, he said, “It’s very, very racy.’’

Soulja Boy charged
Soulja Boy was charged with obstruction after telling officers that people gathered at an abandoned Georgia house were shooting a music video. Henry County Police Captain Jason Bolton said yesterday that when officers arrived Wednesday night to investigate complaints, almost half of the 40 people assembled fled by foot. Later, a 19-year-old man identified as DeAndre Cortez Way, Soulja Boy’s real name, returned and said the group was shooting a video.

Jackson debut online
The first song from the upcoming Michael Jackson music documentary will make its debut online. Sony Music said “This Is It’’ will have its premiere late Sunday, at midnight, on www.michaeljackson.com.

A new apprentice?
Out of work since he was impeached by Illinois lawmakers, Rod Blagojevich is taking his job search to TV’s toughest boss - Donald Trump. The ousted Illinois governor will make an appearance on Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice’’ reality television show on NBC, said a person close to Blagojevich’s team who was briefed on the plan. It was unclear if Blagojevich would compete or just make an appearance on the show.

All in the family
The next generation of Duggars has arrived. According to The Learning Channel, Mackynzie Renee Duggar was born at 6:39 p.m. Thursday. Mackynzie is the first child of Josh and Anna Duggar and the first grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, stars of TLC’s “18 Kids and Counting.’’ Mackynzie’s birth comes as Michelle Duggar is pregnant with her 19th child.
